15th December 2008 to 17th December 2008 Beginners training
18th December 2008 to 21st December 2008 Advanced (Note we will use the Hobie 16 nationals to do the training)
Brent Coetzee will once again conduct the training.
I once again appeal to those of you who are willing to make your boats available for training especially for the beginners.
Peter Davidson 2 x Hobie 16
Please add your names to this list.
Hardap
Hardap was discussed and some feel that we should re introduce the event. We can discuss over December.
Otjivero
Peter Muller indicated that these weekends have been very successful. Some budding new sailors on the horizon.
Hobie 14'S
Ralf Trossbach has suggested that we perhaps look to get a Hobie 14 class going for the upcoming nationals. A great idea, let's look at getting these dust laden boats out of retirement and lets get them on the water. Please start to indicate your willingness to participate.
Kite Boarders and Windsurfers
Jurgen Geiger (thanks for the NSA embers attending last night) has detailed an event at Luderitz in which they will once again be looking at breaking world records. Best of luck.
Tanzacat
Jurgen Gladis and Constantin Hatzilambros have been participating on a Hobie Tiger at the Africa event and are currently lying 15th. Apparently they have 2 days left. Best of luck to them.
Lipton Cup
To Bjorn well done and thanks for keeping us posted on your results.
Anyhow that's all for now we need rescue racing officers and support crew for the upcoming events so please start to make yourselves available. Arie could we use your yacht as the committee boat once again.
Kind Regards
Peter
